jlbit Privacy Policy
At jlbit, the privacy and security of your personal data is not an afterthought — it is a foundational part of how we operate. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect from our Filipino players, why we collect it, how it is used, who it may be shared with, how long it is retained, and what rights you hold over your own information.
Six Ways jlbit Protects Your Data
These are the principles that govern every data processing decision jlbit makes — from the moment you register your account to the day you close it.
jlbit collects only the personal data that is strictly necessary for account operation, identity verification, payment processing, and regulatory compliance. We do not build data profiles beyond what our lawful purposes require.
jlbit does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. The data you entrust to us stays within the jlbit platform ecosystem and its authorised service partners only.
All data transmitted between your device and jlbit's servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS protocols. Sensitive data stored at rest — including payment details, government ID copies, and passwords — is encrypted using AES-256 or equivalent standards.
Filipino players hold meaningful rights over their personal data under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). jlbit gives you practical tools to exercise those rights — including data access requests, correction requests, and deletion requests — without unnecessary friction.
jlbit does not retain personal data indefinitely. Data retention periods are defined per data category, tied to our regulatory obligations and legitimate business purposes. When the applicable retention period expires, data is securely and irreversibly deleted.
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights, jlbit will notify affected players and the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines within the legally prescribed timeframe and provide clear guidance on the steps you should take to protect yourself.
